MORGAN "BRUCE" SAYLOR

Mr. Morgan “Bruce” Saylor, age 72 of Brodhead, passed away Wed. April 4, 2018 at the Rockcastle Hospital.

He was born on July 22, 1945 in Brodhead, Ky., a son of the late Morgan and Ella Rector Saylor. He was a member of Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church and found great joy in Antiques, sports, watching westerns and his cat “Baby”.  Bruce served his country in the US Army, and had been a 28 year  employee of Proctor-Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children: Blake Saylor and wife Brislyn of Crab Orchard, Ky; Stacia Saylor (Greg Florian)  of Apache Junction, Arizona, Morgan Saylor III and wife Brandy of Cincinnati, Ohio and Amber Saylor of Milan, Indiana . His loving companion: Lucy Hatmaker of Brodhead, Ky. His eight grandchildren.  His sisters: Susan Daugherty and husband Dr. Larry of Brodhead, Ky; and Francis Burdine of Brodhead, Ky.; his brother-in-law: Wayne Berry of Berea, Ky;  as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Tackett Saylor, a brother: Lloyd Bennett “Benny” Saylor and a sister, Stacia Berry.

Visitation for Mr. Bruce Saylor will be Monday, April 9th, 2018 from 6-9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral  services will be conducted Tuesday, April 10th, 2018 at 12 Noon at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Randal Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in Saylor Cemetery.
