Mark Anthony Lawson

Mr. Mark Anthony Lawson, age 45 of Brodhead, husband of Jessica, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Mark was a loving and devoted husband and father.  He was born on January 23, 1974 in Madison County to the late Cleada Sloan Mays.  He married Jessica Todd on May 7, 1994 and from that union came two children:  Jacob Anthony Blayne and Arie-Anna Jalayne.  He was a partner of John G. Hamm Auto Sales and an avid collector and trader.  He was a Christian, being baptized when he was 16 years old in Berea and attended Brodhead Baptist Church.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife, Jessica Elaine Lawson; son, Jacob Anthony Blayne Lawson of Brodhead, KY; daughter, Arie-Anna Jalayne Lawson of Brodhead, KY; brothers, Duane Lawson of Berea, KY and Jaymie Mays of Evansville, IN; father-in-law, Wayne Todd of Crab Orchard; plus a host of nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother:  Cleada Sloan Mays; two brothers:  Timothy Lawson, Micah Lawson; and his mother-in-law:  Gledia Todd.

Services for Mr. Mark Lawson will be held at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.  Visitation will be Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 6-9 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 1 pm with Bro. Ralph Baker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Providence Church of Christ Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in honor of Mark.
