Michael Wayne Alcorn

Mr. Michael Wayne Alcorn, age 46 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at his residence.

Michael was born on October 14, 1972, in Richmond, KY, to the late Aurther Ray and Clara Edith Alcorn.  He was a landscaper, collected John Deere and Hot Wheels and enjoyed fishing. 

Those left to celebrate his life are his three children:  Charles Wayne Alcorn of Lexington, KY, Anthony Michael Alcorn of Mt. Vernon, KY, and Nathan Andrew Alcorn of Richmond, KY; six grandchildren; one brother:  Billy Ray (Katie) Alcorn of Mt. Vernon, KY; three sisters:  Clara Ann (Bobby) Renner of Mt. Vernon, KY, Cathaleen (Charles) Brock of London, KY, and Judy Lynn Alcorn of Brodhead, KY.

Services for Mr. Michael Wayne Alcorn will be Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, in Brodhead, KY, starting with visitation at 11:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm.  Burial will follow in the High Dry Cemetery in Blue Springs.
