Sally Morris (Pittman) Williamson

Sally (Pittman) Morris Williamson, 86 Mt. Vernon, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 9th, 2017 at her home. She was born on November 24th, 1930 in Chestnut Ridge, KY., to the late Clifford T. & Rachel (Moore) Pittman. She worked as a Store Clerk for Haitts 5&10 and she was an Instruction Assistant at Mt. Vernon Elementary. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon and she enjoyed gardening, attending church activities and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband, Bill Williamson of Mt. Vernon; her children, Fred D. (Teresa Caldwell) Morris & Debbie (Clayton) Cash, both of Brodhead; her grandchildren, Andrew (Chrissy) Cash, Aaron Cash & Stephanie Morris Carter; her great-grandchildren, Camryn & Parker Cash; her brothers, George R. (Debra) Pittman of Stanford, & Jim Pittman of New Paris, OH.; her sisters, Emma (Ted) Hart of Fairborne, OH., Ina Cummins of Brodhead, Barbara Miller of Russellville, & Linda (Carcel Jr.) Blanton of Mt. Vernon; as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, Sally was preceded in death by: her first husband, Fred Morris; and her brothers, Earl & Glenn Pittman.

Visitation for Sally will be held from 6-9pm Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm on Wednesday, July 12th, 2017 at the funeral home with Bro. Mark Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Cemetery.

Donations in memoy of Sally may be made to the Cardinal Hill Hospital in Lexington, KY.
