Mr. Terry Mullins, age 78 of Mt. Vernon, departed this life on January 2nd, 2018 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born on February 18th, 1939 in Orlando, KY to the late Milton & Martha (Smith) Mullins. On January 7th, 1961, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Louise Mink and from that union came Frank, Jerry & Janet. He was a member of the McNew Chapel Baptist Church and took great enjoyment in fishing, watching U.K. Basketball and visiting with family at gatherings.
Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife of 56 years, Louise Mullins; his children Frank (Joyce) Mullins, Jerry Mullins & Janet (Jerry) Denny all of Mt. Vernon, KY; his grandchildren Cody & Justin Mullins & Kyle Denny; his great grandchildren Allie Mullins & Sophia Pendrey; his sister Mae Rigsby of Cove Branch, KY; as well as many friends and neighbors.
Funeral Service for Terry will be conducted 2PM on Friday, January 5th, 2018 at the Chestnut Ridge Church of God in Jesus Name with Bro. James Carpenter officiating. Family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 12PM until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in the Johnetta Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in memory of Terry to the burial fund at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.
