Willene Woodall Adams, age 83 of Berea, KY. widow of Jimmie, passed away Monday, May 14th, 2018 in Berea, KY.

She was born on March 29th, 1935 in Crab Orchard, KY; a daughter of the late Willie Woodall and Lela Ross Woodall. Willene was a member of the Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed her family, gardening and canning. On July 13, 1968 she was united in marriage to Jimmie Lee Adams, they enjoyed 47 years together before his passing in 2015.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her children: Mickey Shaffer (Rita) of Mt. Vernon, KY, Roger Shaffer of Brodhead, KY, Kathy Bingham of Berea, KY and Deanna Michelle Adams of Berea, KY; her grandchildren: Robyn Taylor, Mikhael Shaffer, Kimberly Combs, Brittney Day, Ashley Shaffer and Eric Shaffer; she had 16 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; her brother: Bobby Woodall (Vivian) of Brodhead, KY; A special friend: Diane Moore; As well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe Shafer; grandchild: Jason Thomas; three brothers: Marvin, James and Everett Woodall; two sisters: Mildred Castle and Jean Wilmott Burke.

Visitation for Willene Adams will be Wednesday, May 16th, 2018 for 6-9 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral Service for Willene Adams will be Thursday, May 17th, 2018 at 1 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Randal Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
