Mr. Willie Leece, age 80 of Brodhead, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Rockcastle Hospital.
He was born on December 24, 1936 in Brodhead, Ky., a son of the late Charlie and Altie Hazel Owens Leece. Willie had been a farm worker and he found great joy in yard work-mowing, cleaning fence rows, and weed-eater repair. He attended Brodhead Christian Church.
Those left to celebrate his life are: his sisters: Ollie King and husband Rev. Donald King of Crab Orchard, KY, Betty Reeks and husband Joe of Lebanon Junction, KY, and Mary Masden of Ft. Knox KY; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Edgar and Doug Leece; and his sister, Nellie Brummett.
Visitation for Mr. Willie Leece will be Wed. November 1, 2017 from 11AM-1PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.
Funeral services will be conducted Wed. November 1, 2017 at 1PM with Bro. Tracy Valentine officiating; burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
