Belva Louise Cromer Goff, 77, of Somerset, KY, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021, with her family by her side.
Belva was born January 28, 1944, in Rockcastle County, a daughter of the late Ed and Roberta Cromer. She was united in marriage to Wiley Goff on November 18, 1960, and of that union came two children: Cheryl (& Jeff) Roberts, and Bruce (& Sharon) Goff. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren: Elizabeth (& Daniel) Stevens, April Roberts (& Fiance Stephen), Erica Dominguez (& Fiance Gustavo), and Adam Roberts, all of Somerset, Kentucky. Most importantly, she was a great-grandmother to her girls: Abriela Dominguez, Shandelle Stevens, and Ariana Dominguez, who were the pride and joy in her life. Also, to Sofia and Josef Dominguez.
She is also survived by her brother, Marvin (& Joyce) Cromer, and sister, Barbara (& Carter) Mink, all of Somerset, Kentucky, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Belva was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ, a seamstress at Palm Beach, and worked at Goff’s Launderette. Belva enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, cooking for others, and caregiving.
She was preceded in death by her husband on December 7, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Donnie Cromer, and her sister, Glenna Renner.
Visitation for Mrs. Belva Goff will be held Monday, October 4, 2021, at from 6-9pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral will be Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 2pm, at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, with Robby Cable officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
