Bentley Clarence McFerron

Bentley Clarence McFerron, age 89, passed away on Sunday, July 26th, 2026, at Rockcastle Health and Rehab, in Brodhead, KY. He was born on December 19th, 1936, in Rockcastle Co. to Sam and Flonnie (Stevens) McFerron. He spent most of his life farming. He Enjoyed Hunting and Fishing, Bee Keeping, and being out in the woods among nature.

He married Rosie Helen (Morgan) McFerron on August 9th, 1955. They shared 70 years together. They had no children of their own but loved their nieces and nephews as if they were their own.

Bentley was preceded in death by his mother, father, three brothers; Estel, Clinton and Paul, four sisters; Alma Robbins, Elsie Cromer, Zorie Robbins and Ollie Mink. He is survived by one sister: Francis McNally, of London, Ky.

A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, at 11am at Maret Cemetery with Bros. Ova Baker and Dale McNew officiating.
