Bernice Marler, age 72 of Sandsprings passed from this life on Friday, May 23, 2025 at her home.
She was born in Rockcastle Count KY. on February 25, 1953, the daughter of Earl and Elizabeth Evans. She was a member of the Sandsprings Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, gardening and being with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Marler and Pate Bullock of Mt. Vernon. Three grandchildren, Anthony Bullock, Dana Day and Pate “Little man” Bullock, Jr. of Mt. Vernon. Four great granddaughters, Addilyn, Aaliyah and Aubree Day, and Shaylynn Dooley of Mt. Vernon. Two great grandsons Camden Powell and Kason McClure of Mt. Vernon, Ky. One brother, Jearl and Anna Evans of Brodhead, Ky. Two sisters Lela and Freddie Renner of Brodhead, Ky. Veral and Harold Miller of Mt. Vernon, Ky. Many nieces and nephews and other beloved one also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Frank Marler. One son Frankie Earl Bob Marler, her parents, Earl and Elizabeth Evans. Three brothers and four sisters, Robert Evans, Gene Evans, one infant brother, one infant sister, Hazel Barron. Glenna Renner and Barbara Graves.
Visitation for Bernice Marler will be Friday, May 30, 2025 from 12Noon-1PM at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Funeral services following at 1PM with Bro. Zandel Hasty officiating. Burial will follow in the Marler Cemetery.
