Betty Lois (Mason) Lamb

Mrs. Betty Lois (Mason) Lamb of Old State Road, Mt. Vernon, KY, sweetly went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 12, 2020.

She was born on October 20, 1945, the daughter of Ernie Edwin Mason and Rosie Jones Mason.

She was a housewife, beloved Mother and Granny.

Lois was a child of God and member of Roundstone Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Charley Lamb, her children:  Betty Jean Lamb Brinegar of Mt. Vernon, Ronnie Jay (Susan) Lamb of Mt. Vernon, Donnie Ray Lamb of Mt. Vernon, Sheila Lynn Lamb Alexander (Herbert Shanks) of Richmond, KY, and Charles Steven “Whoppy” “Snake” (Fannie) Lamb of Mt. Vernon; eight grandchildren:  Larry Travis (Jennifer) Smith of Richmond, KY, Sgt. Alicia Nicole Lamb of Georgetown, KY, Latoya Lamb (Michael Collins) of Mt. Vernon, KY, Brandon (Stephanie) Lamb of Berea, KY, Danielle Alexander of Richmond, KY, Deanna Alexander of Richmond, KY, Savannah Lamb of Mt. Vernon, KY, Steven Lamb of Mt. Vernon, KY; eight great-grandchildren:  Jordan, MJ, Kaliee, Kayden, Kendall, Landon, Branson, and Oaklee; her siblings James Leonard (JoAnn) Mason of London, KY, Ernie Eugene (Alice) Mason of Livingston, KY, Mary Jane Mason (Elmer) Burdette, Marilyn Gail (Ray) Kirby of Livingston; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends also survives.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents:  Ernie Edwin and Rosie (Jones) Mason, her brother:  Donald “Duck” Edward Mason, her sister: Esther Ellen Mason Johnson, and her greatest loss, her infant son:  Phillip Joe with whom she is now reunited.

Her final resting place will be in the Wynn Cemetery, Conway, KY with a graveside service October 14, 2020 at 1:00pm with Jamie Hamilton officiating.  Casket bearers will be her sons:  Ronnie, Donnie, Snake, and grandsons:  Steven Lamb and Michael Collins, and nephew:  Lafey Smith.
