Billye (Shoemaker) Bryant

Ms. Billye (Shoemaker) Bryant, age 38, of Brodhead, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Billye was born April 9, 1981 in Mt. Vernon, KY to the late Billy Hatmaker and Lucy (Shoemaker) Hatmaker.  She was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church, and enjoyed fishing and crafting.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children:  Tristan Dale Winstead of Mt. Vernon, KY, Emily Downs of Waco, KY; one brother:  William (Christina) Shoemaker of Mankato, MN; five sisters:  Rayann Caldwell of Manchester, KY, Nina Lamb of Berea, KY, Grace (J.W.) Erwin of Mt. Vernon, KY, Robin Turner of TN, Penny Turner of FL; and her mother:  Lucy Hatmaker; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Billye was preceded in death by her father:  Billy Hatmaker, and two brothers:  Donald Shoemaker and Billy Hatmaker Jr.

Visitation for Billye Bryant will be Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 6-9pm and Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 11am-1pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 1pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Gordon Mink officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shoemaker Cemetery.  Casket bearers will be  William Shoemaker, Gracie Erwin, Eugene Shoemaker, Nina Lamb, J.W. Erwin, and Cody Combs.
