Bonnie Mae (Harness) Renner

Ms. Bonnie Mae Renner, age 88, of Harrodsburg, KY, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, at SignatureCARE Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg, KY.

Bonnie was born April 19, 1933, in Lincoln County KY to the late Charles Cecil Harness and the late Velva Jewell (Brown) Harness.  She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers.

Those left to celebrate her life are her son:  John Bryant of Harrodsburg, KY; one stepson:  Stanley Renner and wife Vonda of Danville, KY; five grandchildren:  Jason Murphy, Jacklyn Murphy, Jessica Murphy, Nathan Bryant, Miranda Bryant; one step-grandchild:  Corey Renner; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother:  Wayne Harness of Batesville, IN; and one sister:  Irene Petrey of Richmond, KY.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Sylvester Renner in 2011; two daughters:  Connie Murphy and Cathy Bryant; and two siblings:  Louis Harness and Ilene Nicholas.

Visitation for Bonnie Mae Renner will be Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 5-8pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Harold Harness officiating. Burial will follow in the Ottawa Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Ottawa Perpetual Care fund in honor of Bonnie.
