Brenda Lou (Cummins) Albright

Mrs. Brenda Lou Cummins Albright, 73  of Brodhead, KY passed from this life on Mon.  August 4, 2025, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. She was born on November 3, 1951 in Rockcastle County, KY to the late Vernon and Fannie Norton Cummins.  Brenda enjoyed watching Nascar and U.K. Basketball.

On June 20, 1970 she married Edgar Lynn Albright and they were married 54 years.

Brenda is survived by two daughters, Angela Janine Hansel (Jason)  and Natalie Lynne Albright (Mike) both of Mt. Vernon, KY.  Two grandsons, Charles Kenneth Cornelius III (Rachel) and Cameron Lynn Cornelius (Millie) both of Mt. Vernon, KY.  One step granddaughter, Sierra Hansel (Jesse) of Livingston, KY. One great grandson, Walker Tate Cornelius of Mt. Vernon, KY.  She is also survived by four sisters: Glenda Gentry of Mt. Vernon, KY, Sue Reece (Bill) of Goshen, OH, Mary Huckleby New of Eubank, KY and Darlene Harris (Dennis) of Mt. Vernon, KY, her mother-in-law, Helen Albright of Mt. Vernon, KY and her sister-in-law, Joy Todd (Ronnie) of Crab Orchard, KY as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, and her husband Edgar Albright, she is preceded in death by one sister, Shelby Jean and two brothers, Junior and stillborn, Father-in-law, Alex (DG) Albright, brother-in-law's, Burnett Albright, Glen Gentry, Coy Huckleby and Carmel New. A niece, Shandra Rowe and two nephews Kelly Gentry and Daniel Harris. 

Services for Brenda will be Sunday, August 10th with visitation starting at 12 PM till time of the funeral at 2 PM. Burial will follow in Ottawa Cemetery.
