Bruce Kelly DeBorde

Mr. Bruce Kelly DeBorde, age 59 of Brodhead, KY passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Bruce was born January 8, 1962, in Berea, KY to the late Rosetta Brock DeBorde. He was of the Christian faith, was a farmer, enjoyed watching wrestling, going hunting, and he loved to talk to people.

Those left to celebrate his life are his sister:  Jennifer DeBorde of Brodhead, KY; his two beloved dogs: Shadow and Cheyenne; six cousins:  Patricia Brown and husband Mike, Janice Browning, Lisa Worrell and husband Phil, Mark Holbrook and wife Becky, Paula Kane, Debbie Oates and husband Keith; as well as many friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings:  Dennis DeBorde, and infant Jeffery DeBorde; grandparents:  Dewey and Lucy (Saylor) Brock; aunt and uncles:  Geraldine Brock Holbrook, Paul Holbrook, Teddy Brock; cousin: Anthony Brock; and cousin-in-law:  Jim Browning.

Visitation for Bruce will be Friday, June 4, 2021, from 6-9pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 11am at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Buford Parkerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers are Steven Brown, Shannon Bishop, David Mink, Bob Rader, Walter Browning, and Chris Sowder.
