Carolyn E. Hamm, age 77 went to her eternal home in heaven on the morning of Friday, May 2, 2025.
She was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on September 15, 1947, to the late Leo (Bunk) Naylor and Ollie Hensley Naylor. Carolyn was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Ottawa Baptist Church, Brodhead, Kentucky.
Carolyn retired from the Palm Beach Company in Danville, Kentucky. She was blessed with many talents and could paint, wallpaper and make the best Christmas goodies!
Those left to celebrate her life are her granddaughter, Mary Hannah Hunsucker, two great grandchildren, whom she cared for the majority of their lives, Maelee and Daniel Hunsucker and her sister, Linda Dyehouse. Carolyn was an adored “Aunt Carolyn” by her many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed but we all know she is no longer in pain and once again is able to walk on those streets of gold!
Carolyn was preceded in death by her only child, Stephanie Ann Saylor Lovell, also her husband Eddie Hamm. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Helen, Loretta, Marion, Rosella and Warren.
Visitation for Carolyn will be Monday, May 5, 2025 from 12Noon-2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with funeral services following at 2P with Jennifer Naylor Brogle officiating. Burial will follow in Ottawa Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Daniel Hunsucker, Lissa Albright, Natalie Rupard, Jeff Albright, Michael Rupard, Jimmy, Terry and Frankie Dyehouse.
Honorary Pallbearers: Her nurses and caregivers of the Landmark Nursing Center in Danville, KY.
