Calvin Morgan

Mr. Calvin Morgan, age 85, husband of Pauline, of Berea, KY, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Calvin was born on October 10, 1936, a son of the late George and Lora Smith Morgan, in Rockcastle County, KY. He and Pauline Rucker were united in holy matrimony October 12, 1959. He was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on machinery.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife of 62 years, Pauline Rucker Morgan; his son: Warren Morgan of Berea, KY; two brothers: Paul Morgan and Jean of Crab Orchard, KY, and Jerry Morgan of Russell Springs, KY; three sisters: Anna Margaret Tuggle and Gilbert of Lancaster, KY, Barbara Stinnett of Stanford, KY, and Hellen Tuggle and Robby of Lancaster, KY; as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings: Effie Mae Lissal, Juanita Adams, and Dallas, Junior, and Mike Morgan.

Services for Mr. Calvin Morgan will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, beginning with the visitation at 12pm, until the time of the Funeral at 1pm, with Randy McFerron officiating. Burial will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jeff Smith, Bill Turner, Richard Stinnett, Jimmy Pingleton, and Odell and Matthew Durham.
