Carlos T Cash

Carlos Cash, age 82 of Brodhead, departed this life on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Lake Cumberland Medical Center in Somerset, Ky.

He was born in Ottawa on March 26, 1943, a son of the late Homer and Cordia Singleton Cash. On June 25th, 1965, Carlos married Madonna Jean Flynn and from that union came one child, Michael Terry Cash. Carlos was a member of Ottawa Baptist Church, and he enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife: Madonna Jean Cash of Brodhead, his son: Michael Terry Cash (Ruby) of Brodhead, one grandchild: Michael Acton Cash, his brother: C. Paul Cash (Debbie) of Brodhead;, his sister;  Joann Brown of Brodhead, sister-in-law, Reba Cash of Brodhead, as well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents Carlos was preceded in death by two brothers: Gaffer Cash (Juanita), Walter Cash, sisters; Maxine Daughtery (Junior), Willene Burton (Pete Otis), his daughter in law: Jennifer Anne Cash. Father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Catherine Flynn.

Casket bearers are Terry Burton, Larry and Edward Daughtery, Curtis Cash, Paul Shackleford and Arthur Hunt.

Visitation for Carlos will be Monday, May 12th, 2025, at Ottawa Baptist Church from 11am-1pm. Funeral service will begin at 1pm with Bro. John McPheron officiating. Burial will follow in Ottawa Cemetery.
