Carolyn Sue (Gregory) Brown

Mrs. Carolyn Sue (Gregory) Brown age 83 of Brodhead, KY, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021, at Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation in Brodhead, KY.

Carolyn was born July 31, 1937, in Livingston, KY to the late David and Evelyn (Mason) Gregory. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She retired after 30 years as a schoolteacher and loved to: talk to people, spend time with her grandkids, do genealogy research, and play Bingo. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Quail Homemakers, and Retired Teachers Organization.

Those left to celebrate her life are her two sons:  Michael Brown and wife Pat of Brodhead, KY, Greg Brown and wife Nichole of Russell Springs, KY; one stepdaughter:  Sharon Brown of Brodhead, KY; four grandchildren:  Holly Brown, Steven Brown and wife Brittany, Cameron Brown, Caleb Brown; one great-grandson:  Mason Brown; and one brother:  Wayne Gregory and wife Frankie of Orange Beach, AL.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Leroy Brown; one stepdaughter:  Karen King; one brother:  William “Bill” Gregory; and one daughter-in-law:  Regina Brown.

Visitation for Carolyn Sue Brown will be Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 6-9pm and Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 10-11am. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 11am at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Robby Cable officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Casket bearers are Steven Brown, Cameron Brown, Caleb Brown, Jimmy Antle, Wayne Todd, Raymond Brown, Anthony Lewis, and Billy Joe Brown.
