Carter Eugene Durham

Mr. Carter Eugene (Gene) Durham, age 64 of Mt Vernon, passed away September 1st, 2024, at Rockcastle Health and Rehab in Brodhead, KY.

Gene was born August 7th, 1960, in Mt Vernon, KY to the late William Eugene Durham and Nina (Livesay) Durham.

He enjoyed shooting guns and fishing, and his special pet/friend “Snoopie”.

Gene is survived by his son; Wesley Durham (Katlyn) of Mt Vernon, KY. A special uncle, Terance “Tubby” Durham (Lorna) and special aunt, Rita Mcferron. As well as a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Neighbors.

He is preceded in death by his parents; William “Eugene” and Nina Bell (Livesay) Durham.

Graveside service will be at Oakhill Cemetery on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, at 11am with Bro. Alan Dodson officiating.
