Charles E. Bryant Obituary

Mr. Charles E. Bryant, age 85, of Brodhead, Ky, passed from this life on Thursday, June 11th, 2026. He was born on October 11th, 1940, the son of the late Charles H. Bryant and Anna Mae Turner Bryant Payne.

He was a Chirstian and attended Emmauel Baptist Church in Crab Orchard. Charles was a Carpenter by trade and he enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, Gardening, working with Flowers (he definitely had a green thumb), but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his wife: Ruby Brummett Bryant, his children; Linda Gail Bryant (Glen Burge) of Brodhead, James Hoskins (Lisa) of Berea, Charles Ray Bryant (Sandra) of Brodhead, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, his brothers; Larry Payne (Margaret) of Corbin, Eddie Payne of Crab Orchard, special granddaughter and caretaker: Tausha Denham

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his child: Lawrence Stanley Hoskins, one great grandchild, seven brothers and four sisters.

Visitation for Charles will be Monday, June 15th, 2026, from 1:30 to 3 pm at James Brummett Cemetery, Graveside service will follow at 3pm with Bro. Shannon Franklin Officiating. Burial will follow in Brummett Cemetery.
