Clara Ann (Alcorn) Renner

OBITUARY NOTICE:

Clara Ann (Alcorn) Renner, age 54 of Mt. Vernon, Ky. passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on March 30, 1970, in Berea, Ky., a daughter of the late Arthur Ray and Clara Edith Cromer Alcorn.  She had previously been employed for Rockcastle Sewing Company; she loved UK basketball, gardening and reading. On July 26, 1985, she was united in marriage to Bobby Renner and from that union came Savannah Ann, Matthew Brent and Alexis Brooke.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband, Bobby Renner of Mt. Vernon; her children: Savannah Ann Renner of Livingston, Ky; Matthew Brent Renner (Victoria) of Irvine, Ky; and Alexis Brooke Renner of Mt. Vernon; her grandchildren: Calie McFerron, Cadence McFerron, Catherine Renner, Willow Collins, Carly Renner, Paul
Renner and Faith Renner. Her brother: Billy Ray Alcorn (Katie) of Mt. Vernon; her sisters: Cathaleen Alcorn of London, and Judy Alcorn of Brodhead. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wayne Alcorn.

Visitation for Clara will be Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 5-8PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, with funeral services being conducted Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Larry Mink officiating.  Burial will follow in High Dry Cemetery.
