Dallas Eugene Morgan

Mr. Dallas Eugene Morgan, age 79 of Berea, KY, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY.

Dallas was born May 10, 1941 in Copper Creek, KY, to the late George and Lora Smith Morgan.  He was a farmer, a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, enjoyed animals, fishing, farming, and nature.

Those left to celebrate his life are his daughter:  Audrey Jean Robinson and husband Robbie Lee of Raleigh, NC; three brothers:  Paul Morgan and wife Jean of Copper Creek, KY, Calvin Morgan and wife Pauline of Copper Creek, KY, Jerry Morgan of Somerset. KY; three sisters:  Ann Tuggle and husband Gilbert of Lancaster, KY, Barbara Stinnet of Burgin, KY, Helen Tuggle and husband Robbie of Lancaster, KY; as well as nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides his parents, Dallas was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years:  Jearldine Rucker Morgan; one infant daughter:  Regina Lynn Morgan; two brothers:  Michael Morgan, Junior Morgan, Jr.; and two sisters:  Effie Mae Lissall, and Juanita Adams.

Visitation for Dallas will be Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 11am until time for the funeral service at 1pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with James Poynter and Darren Cupp officiating. Burial will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery. Casket bearers are Brad Hunt, Kenny Robinson, James Poynter, Nathan DeLeon, Rylee DeLeon. Honorary casket bearers are:  John Holbrook, Carl Sargent, Russell Houk, and Robby Crawford.

The family requests that all visitors follow CDC guidelines for face covering and social distancing.
