Danna (Hunt) Turner

Julian LaDanna (Hunt) Turner, age 62 of Brodhead, passed away May 22nd, 2025, at Saint Joseph in Lexington KY. Danna was born May 3rd, 1963, to the late Danny Douglas Hunt and Delores Faye Stewart Hunt and stepfather Moss Stewart. She was a member of the Narrow Way Church of God in Jesus Name. She found great joy in sewing, fishing, enjoyed cooking and entertaining people, and spoiling her grandkids. On May of 2007 she was united in marriage to Edgar Lee Turner. She operated the Back Porch Restaurant at Renfro Valley.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children: Regina (Ashley) Anderson of Crab Orchard, Ky; Steven (Mary) Eversole of Crab Orchard; Edgar Lee (Ayshia) Turner of Richmond, Ky; Beverly (Rob) Ishmael of Richmond, Ky; her grandchildren: Matheu, Haley, Damon, Landon, Brittany, Brooks, Alyssa, and Harper; her brothers: Doug (Connie) Hunt of Lexington and John (Nikki) Hunt of Lexington; As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lee Turner. Visitation will be Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 11-2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, with funeral services following at 2PM with Pastor Mike McFerron officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilmot Chapel Cemetery.
