Danny Wayne Smith

Mr. Danny Wayne Smith, age 70, of Brodhead, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at UK Hospital in Lexington. Danny was born on December 4, 1952, in Berea, KY, a son of Bernice Miller, and the late James Smith, Jr. He was of the Baptist faith, and in his free time enjoyed hunting and fishing. Those left to celebrate his life are his mother: Bernice Miller; his two sons: Donovan Wayne Smith and James Couburn Smith; ten grandchildren; two brothers: Ricky K. Smith & Doris of Mt. Vernon, KY, and Roger Dale Smith & Margie of Mt. Vernon, KY; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Stacy Lynn McGuire.

A private graveside service was held for Danny, at Elmwood Cemetery on Friday, December 16, 2022.
