OBITUARY NOTICE:

Darla Mae Reams Moore, 68, of Orlando, Ky, passed away Saturday, January 17th, at Baptist Health in Lexington.

Darla was born July 21st, 1957, in Mt Vernon, Ky, A daughter of the late Elmo and Delia Stewart Reams. She was of the Baptist faith and a devoted member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. She had numerous hobbies; serving the Lord, doing things for her church, spending time with family, coaching basketball, playing cards, riding horses, Cornhole, Tennis, Clogging, Pickleball, Hiking, Camping, Woodworking, Hay Riding, and Teaching.

Darla is survived by her family; her sister: Phyllis McGuire. of Orlando, her brother: Kenneth Reams of East Bernstadt, sister: Glenna (Larry) Settles of Brodhead. Several nieces and nephews; Penny Wynn, Rhonda Yaden, Vicki Burdette, Trina Montjoy, Terry Montjoy, Dee Reams, Jared Reams, Mikah Reams, A J Reams, Coty Reams, Eric Denney, Bryant Reams, and Brandon Reams.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Gary Moore, Five Brothers, Perry Montjoy, sister-in-law: Linda Montjoy, Jerry Montjoy, Anthony Reams, Bobby Jean Reams, Roger Reams, and one sister: Linda Montjoy.

Visitation for Darla will be Wednesday, January 21st, 2026, at Brush Creek Holiness Church from 6-9pm. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 22nd, 2026, at Brush Creek Holiness Church at 1pm with Bro. Steve Weaver and Bro. Lonnie McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North (205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown Ky, 41097).

Casket bearers are Jared, Mikah, A.J., Coty, Bryant and Brandon Reams, and Eric Denney. Honorary Casket bearers are Rockcastle Basketball Players (past and Present).
