Darrell Edward Doan

Mr. Darrell Edward Doan, age 63 of Mt. Vernon, Ky. passed away Thursday July 4, 2019 in Mt. Vernon, Ky.

He was born on August 2, 1955 in Berea, Ky., a son of the late James Walker Doan  and Eva Hasty Doan.  He was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed playing music and singing. 

Those left to celebrate his life are his brothers: Elzie Doan (Mary Opal) of Livingston, Ky; Vernon Doan (Charolett) of Calloway, Ky.; and Dallas Doan (Beverley) of Seymore, Indiana.  His sisters: Tessie Allen of Honor, Michigan; Glenna Bell (James) of Monticello, Ky.; and Linda Martin of Mt. Vernon, Ky. As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Doan; sisters: Alma Hines, Alene Brown, Elsie McClure, Sadie Highlander and infant Loretta Doan.

Services for Darrell Edward Doan will be Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 12Noon-2PM at Calloway Holiness Church, will funeral services following at 2PM with Bro. Phillip Doan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Charlie Mink Cemetery. Donations in Darrell's memory may be made to funeral fund at P.O. Box 658, Brodhead, Ky. 40409.
