Darrell McKinney

Mr. Darrell McKinney, age 64, of Brodhead, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Darrell was born February 22, 1957, in Somerset, KY, a son of the late Arthur Joplin McKinney and Clarice Todd McKinney. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Those left to celebrate his life are his brothers and sisters: Joyce Burdine of Brodhead, KY, Bonnie Gentry and husband Novice of Brodhead, KY, Jimmy McKinney of Lexington, KY, Bill McKinney and wife Carolyn of Brodhead, KY, Danny McKinney and wife Betty Jo of Brodhead, KY; a good friend:  Matthew Bustle; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sibling Jackie McKinney; a sister-in-law Jean McKinney; a brother-in-law Genis Ray Burdine; and a niece Janet Burdine.

Services for Mr. Darrell McKinney will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, beginning with the visitation at 12pm, until the time of the funeral at 2pm, at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, with Steve Burdine officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery.
