David Lee Begley

Mr. David Lee Begley, age 49, of Brodhead passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

He was born on May 10, 1971 in Mt. Vernon. Ky., a son of the late Kenneth Gale Begley and Loutisha Thomas Begley.  He was an Escort for Oversize Loads, was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed Hot Rods and stereo’s.  On May 4, 1996 he was married to Alice Marie Hodge and they enjoyed 24 years together.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife, Alice Begley of Brodhead, Ky; his children: Sara Begley and Russell Bullock of Livingston, Ky; Austin Hodge of Livingston, Ky; Zachary Begley of Livingston, Ky; and Fayeth Begley of Brodhead, Ky. His brothers: James Begley (Martha Ann); and Kenneth Begley (Lawana); his sisters: Sandra Butler, Zella Denham (Joe); Charlotte Bowman, Linda Lyons (Roger), Patricia Begley, Jenny Ceesay(Ismaila) Lisa Hoffman (Tim), Ruby Begley and sister-in-law: Ruthie Begley.  As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Jackie and Bruce Begley.

Services for David will be Thursday January 21 visitation starting at 11 to 1 PM funeral staring at 1 PM.
