David Kenneth DeBord

David Kenneth DeBord, age 63 of Somerset, Ky. departed this life, Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at UK Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born on August 21, 1960, in Mt. Vernon Ky., a son of the late Miller DeBord and Pauline DeBord Farley.  He found great joy in fishing, gardening, hunting, and spending time with his grand babies.  He served his country in the US Armed forces.   

Those left to celebrate his life are his mother: Pauline DeBord Farley of Somerset, Ky;   his children: Latasha DeBord (Greg Spoonamore) of Somerset, Ky;  and David (Kayla) DeBord of Mt. Vernon, Ky; his fiancée,  Diana Correll of Somerset, Ky; six grandchildren,  a host of step grandchildren; his brothers: Dan DeBord (Vicky) of Somerset, Ky; Milton Lee DeBord  of Somerset, Ky; and Tony (Maria) DeBord of Harrodsburg, Ky. his sister: Patsy (Duane) Nevels of Burnside, Ky; And a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a special companion, Melissa Tompkins.

A Memorial service for David DeBord will be held Saturday, May 11th, 2024, from 11AM-1:30pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals
