David Ray Alcorn

OBITUARY NOTICE:

Mr. David Ray Alcorn, age 59 of Mt. Vernon, departed this life on Monday, September 11, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on October 10. 1963, a son of the late Jesse Gene and Margaret Alcorn.  He found great joy in fishing, yardwork of all types, mowing cemeteries and spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to celebrate his life are his daughter: Angela Hurd of Georgetown, Ky; his grandchildren: Jordan Turk, Londynn Alcorn and Jeremiah Trueblood, Jr.; his brothers: Michael Alcorn, Robert Alcorn and Roger Alcorn; his sisters: Berniece Whitehead, Charlotte Alcorn and Judy Cromer.  As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a son: David Gene Alcorn.

Cremation was chosen, and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
