Dennis Doan

Mr. Dennis Doan, age 64, of Mt. Vernon, Ky, passed from this life on Thursday, March 5th, 2026. He was the son of the late Vernon and Charlotte Lawson Doan. On June 27th, 1981, Dennis married Donna Mason Doan.

Dennis was a concrete finisher by trade, and he was a lifelong member of Calloway Holiness Church. He enjoyed Fishing, Singing, Playing Music, and spending time with friends and neighbors, but most of all being with his with family.

Dennis is survived by his wife; Donna Mason Doan, his daughter; Deanna Barnes (Shawn Doan) of Mt. Vernon, his grandchildren; Kendra Barnes of Mt. Vernon, Isaiah Barnes of Mt. Vernon, his brother; Dalmas Doan (Vicki) of Livingston, his sisters; Tina Doan of Mt Vernon, and Debbie Doan (Larry Shepherd) of Mt. Vernon. He also had a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family along with his church family.

Beside his parents Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Vernon Doan Jr and Michael Doan.

Services for Dennis will be Monday, March 9th, 2026, at Calloway Holiness Church from 6-9pm. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at 2pm with Bros. Jeff Parker and Phillip Doan officiating. Burial will follow in Doan Family Cemetery.
