Diana Napier (Sturgill) Pierce

Diana Sturgill Napier Pierce was born July 22, 1951, in Cincinnati, OH to Earnest Sturgill and Emma Jean Kirby Sturgill.

Diana graduated high school form PRP in Louisville, KY and from Western KY University in 1971 with an associate degree in nursing.

She served as President of the RTEC and senior citizens board of directors for many years as well as serving on many other committees in the community. She served as Nursing Supervisor for many years at the Rockcastle County Health Department and retired from there in 2008 after 30 years of service.

She found great joy in her love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Roger Pierce, her children Brian Napier and wife Jennifer, Christie Brown, and husband Floyd Brown Jr. her grandchildren Matthew Wallin and Callie Wallin, and Ashley Napier, her great grandchildren twin boys Luka Ray and River Jay Holland.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Bob Napier, father Earnest Sturgill, and sister Tina Milam.
