Donald Collins Obituary

Mr. Donald Earl Collins, 66 of Pine Hill, died on Monday, August 16, 2021, at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born November 12, 1954, in Rockcastle County, the son of the late George and Irene Collins. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and being outside. The joy of his life was his grandchildren.

He was survived by: his wife of 44 years: Carolyn Payne Collins: three children: Stephanie Hines of Orlando, KY, Amanda Helton of Berea, KY, Adam (Kinsye) Collins of Pine Hill, KY; his siblings: Raymond (Mageline) Collins, Clifford (Patricia) Collins, Pauline (Ronnie) Warf; grandchildren: Kinley and Addy Hazel Collins of Pine Hill, KY; Joseph (Katie) Collins of Richmond, KY, Ellis Hines of Orlando, KY; and special grandchildren: Aaron Helton and Katie Helton of Pine Hill, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Eugene and Jesse Collins and Joyce Ann Jones.

Cremation was chosen. The family will have a memorial at a later date.
