Donald Lee Long

Mr. Donald Lee Long, age 71, of Brodhead, KY, husband of Sue, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.

Don was born October 10, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH to Albert and Sylvia (Noe) Long. He married Betty Sue Reynolds on April 10, 1971.  He attended Fairview Church of Christ, worked in the automotive business for 43 years, and was an avid collector.  Don was a problem-solver, often coming up with out-of-the-box solutions. He never met a stranger, was a loving, caring, father figure, and friend to many, always lending a hand to anyone. 

Don leaves behind his wife of 49 years:  Betty Sue Long; mother-in-law:  Bonnie Reynolds; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation for Don Long will be Friday, September 11, 2020 from 5-8pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Curt Herrington officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.  Pallbearers are David Bullock, Chase Thompson, Eddie Thompson, Shawn Brown, Billy Lovell, and Jonas Stevens.
