Donald Ray Bullock

Mr. Donald Ray “Duck” Bullock, age 75, departed this life Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at his home in Brodhead, KY.

Donald was born January 11th, 1950, in Mt Vernon, KY, to the late Hearl Bullock and Lucy Maple Barnes Bullock McClure. On July 28th, 1972, he married Thelma Jean Ponder Bullock and from that union came two children: Tana Jean and Donna Kaye. He was of the Baptist faith, and he had many hobbies. Donald enjoyed building Furniture, engine repair, working on tractors, hunting, and fishing.  

He is survived by his wife: Thelma Jean Ponder Bullock, his children; Tana Jean Shumate and Wes Brokaw of Brodhead, Donna Kaye Hyden (Aaron) of Mt Victory, KY, his grandchildren; Harley Rachelle Harris and Austin, Kaleb Aaron Ray Hyden, and Marisa, his great grandchildren; Natalie and Penelope Harris, one sister: Mary Rose Debord and Terry Mullins of Eubank, KY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Robert Earl Bullock, Bentley Jearl Bullock, his sister: Judy Kidwell.

Visitation for Donald will be Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, from 6-9pm at Owens Chapel. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 8th, at 2pm. The service will be officiated by Bro. Robbie Cable, followed by interment at Providence Cemetery.

Casket bearers are Kaleb Hyden, David Allen Debord, Scotty Bullock, Wes Brokaw, Austin Harris, Jeremy Owens, Jaden Back, and Sherman Cook.
