Donna Gail (Baker) Ruffin

Donna Gail (Baker) Ruffin, age 65, of Brodhead, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Donna was born in Honolulu, HI, on December 2, 1956, a daughter of Shirley Ann (Samples) Prusacki and the late Charles Lloyd Baker. She married Richard Ruffin, and they enjoyed 28 years together prior to his passing in October 2019. She was of the Christian faith, and enjoyed crafts, flowers, gardening, and taking care of grandchildren.  

Those left to celebrate her life are her mother: Shirley Ann (Samples) Prusacki; her children: Amanda Clontz & Mitchell of Brodhead, KY, Christy Hale of Dawson Springs, KY, Ricky Hale, Jr. of Brodhead, KY, Bryan Ruffin & Rachel of Earlington, KY, and Marty Jo Ruffin of Princeton, KY; her grandchildren: Maggie Bourland Christopher & Nathan, Cody Tillett & Chelsea, Devin Tillett, Austin Polk, Makayla Renner, Christopher Lee, Bradock Farley, Brokton Farley, Chance Key, and Nathan Hale; great-grandchildren: Evalynn Lee, Ava Lee, Lucas Christopher, Danielle Reed, and Harley Tillett; four brothers: Charles “C.O” Orten, Mike Baker, Larry Davis, and Darrell Davis & Deborah; five sisters: Sandy Coke, Susan Orten, Ann Vandiver, Kathy Bartlett & Greg, and Lisa Robinson; as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Ruffin; her father: Charles Lloyd Baker; and her adopted parents: Paul Ray & Evonne Davis.

Services for Donna will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, on Friday, August 19, 2022, beginning with the visitation at 12pm, until the time of the funeral service at 2pm with Randal Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery.
