Dorothy (Farris) Lunsford

Mrs. Dorothy Lunsford, age 90 of Nicholasville, Ky., passed away Sat. Dec. 12, 2020 at Baptist Health Lexington.

She was born June 28, 1930 in Stanford. Ky., a daughter of the late Cecil Hubbard Farris and Ella Norris Hale Farris. She was a member of the Sulphur Well Christian Church and enjoyed reading and her pets.

Those left to celebrate her life are her stepsons: Donnie and Randy Lunsford, both of Nicholasville, Ky; Her sister: Grace Hiter of Poland, Ind. As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil Williams, and second husband, James Lunsford; her son:  Steven Eugene Williams; her brothers, James Farris, Elmer Farris, brothers-in-law, Jim Hiter and Bill Palmer; her sisters, Thelma Pauline Floyd and Verlie Mae Palmer.

Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Lunsford will be Tues. Dec. 15, 2020 at 2:00pm at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanford, Ky. with Bro. John Sanders officiating.
