Edgar Lynn Albright

Mr. Edgar Lynn Albright age 72 of Brodhead, passed away at his home August 25, 2024, surrounded by his family. Edgar was born May 23rd, 1952, in Beelick Kentucky to the Daniel “DG” and Helen (Blevins) Albright.

On June 20, 1970, Edgar married the love of his life Brenda Lou (Cummins) Albright. From that marriage came two daughters: Angela Janine Hansel (Jason) and Natalie Lynne Albright (Mike).

Edgar enjoyed woodworking, welding and a big fan of Nascar. He was a lifetime member of Ottawa Baptist Church.

Edgar is survived by his mother Helen Albright of Brodhead; his wife of 54 years Brenda Lou Albright; two daughters Angela Janine Hansel (Jason) of Mt. Vernon, and Natalie Lynne Albright (Mike) of Brodhead. Special daughter Stephanie Renee Price-Prewitt. Grandchildren Charles Kenneth Cornelius III (Rachel) Of Mt. Vernon; Cameron Lynn Cornelius (Millie) of Mt. Vernon: Sierra Hansel (Jesse) of Mt. Vernon. One great grandchild Walker Tate Cornelius. One sister Joy Todd (Ron) of Crab Orchard; Nephews Michael Todd (Pauline) of Brodhead and Kevin Todd (Ginny) of Crab Orchard. Great nephew Alex Todd. Two Great nieces Abby and Foneva Todd. Sister-in-laws Glenda Gentry of Mt. Vernon, Sue Reece (Bill) Goshen, OH; Mary Huckleby-New of Science Hill, and Darlene Harris (Dennis) of Mt. Vernon.

Besides his father Edgar was preceded in death by a brother, Burnett Albright.

Visitation for Edgar will be Thursday August 29, 2024, at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals starting at 6 to 9 PM. Funeral will be Friday August 30, 2024, at 3 PM with Bros. John McPheron and Stacy Smith.
