Edie (McCracken) Miller

Mrs. Edie (McCracken) Miller, age 87 of Orlando, KY passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Edie was born September 29, 1934, in Orlando KY to the late Ed and Annas (McGuire) McCracken. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed quilting and gardening.

Those left to celebrate her life are her five children:  Darrell Miller and wife Linda of Orlando, KY, Michael Miller and wife Vickie of Orlando, KY, Sue Baker of Orlando, KY, Roger Miller of Orlando, KY, and Donna Richards of Orlando, KY; seven grandchildren:  Tim Philbeck, Armanda King, Mikie Miller, Crystal Fish, Kevin Miller, Justin Richards, Stacy Thomason; twenty-one great grandchildren; one brother:  Randy McCracken; and five sisters:  Janet Garret of Indiana, Carolyn Cauhil of Richmond, KY, Rose Robinson and husband Andrew of Elizabethtown, KY, Hazel Bailey and husband Arthur of Indiana, and Lucille of Virginia; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Oscar Miller; two grandchildren:  Miranda Ginter, Nealus Richards; and six siblings:  James McCracken, Frankie McCracken, Bronco McCracken, Katherine Davis, Geneva Bowman, and Linda McCracken.

Visitation for Edie will be Sunday, April 10, 2022, from 11am until time for the funeral service at 1pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Philip Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Johnetta Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Kevin Miller, Tim Philbeck, Mikie Miller, Justin Richards, Conner Philbeck, and Isaac Steel.
