Edith L. (Lawrence) Murray

Edith Louise Lawrence Murray, age 82, of Somerset, Ky, passed away at Somerwoods Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026. She was a daughter to the late Grover and Roberta Deborde Lawrence. Edith was the wife of Charles Murray (Deceased).

Edith was born on October 6th, 1943, in Stanford, Ky. She was self-employed as a Hairdresser, and she was of the Baptist faith. Edith enjoyed Reading, Bowling, her pets, and of course doing hair, but most of all spending time with family, friends and neighbors.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children; David Anderson (Teisha) of Somerset, Daniel Anderson (Tracy) of Lynchburg OH, her grandchildren; Jesie Anderson of Somerset, Nicholas Anderson (Brianna) of Somerset, Ryan Anderson (Cody) of Colorado , Josie Arndts (Nicholas) of Eubank, Adam Anderson (Kristen) of OH, Lindsey Wooldridge (Tyler) of Somerset, Her greatgrandchildren; Violet, Holden, Raelyn, Elli, Maverick, Aaron, Axel, Waylon, her brother: Bobby Lawrence (Phyllis) of Loveland, OH.

Besides her parents and her husband Edith was preceded in death by her brother: Marvin Lawrence, her sister-in-law: Darlene Lawrence.

Visitation for Edith will be Sunday, February 1st, 2026, at Owens Chapel from 12-2pm. Funeral service will follow at 2pm. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.
