Mr. Elbert Cecil Sparks, age 72, of Mt. Vernon, KY, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at his residence.

Elbert was born August 21, 1948 on Barnes Mountain in Richmond, KY. He worked for Blalock Construction for 28 years as a blacktop construction worker.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years: Carol Jean Robbins Sparks.

Cremation rites were performed.
