Elvin Richard Bowman

Mr. Elvin Richard Bowman of Berea KY passed away October 30, 2024, at The Terrace in Berea KY.

Elvin Was born August 1, 1940, in Berea KY to Dillard and Mary Ida King Bowman. He was of the Baptist faith. Elvin was united in marriage to Edith Singleton, and they enjoyed 41 years till her passing in 2001, from that union came one daughter Virginia. Elvin married Judy Kendrick on June 19th, 2009.

Those left to honor his life his wife Judy Bowman, his children; Virginia and Terry Heller of Carlisle, OH, Elvin Bowman Jr. and Lisa of Miamisburg OH, Renee Bowman of Berea KY; eight grandchildren; Jayson Heller, Alex Heller, Austin Bowman, Chelsi Horras, Kellie Hellrigel, Alex Turner, Angel Turner and Issac Turner: six great grandchildren: Tanner, Colt and Leroy Bowman, Hadley and Hudson Horras and Blakely Hellrigel. Two sisters Wavelene and Frank Neat of Russell Springs, KY, Wanda Reed of Germantown, OH.

Besides his wife Edith Bowman and his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother Melvin.

Services for Elvin Bowman will be Monday November 4th with visitation starting at 11 am till time of the funeral at 12. Bro. Bobby Turner Officiating. Burial will follow at the Livesay Singleton Family Cemetery.
