Ernest Bishop

Mr. Ernest Bishop, age71, of Brodhead Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 28th, 2024, at Rockcastle Health and Rehab in Brodhead.

Ernest was born October 24th, 1953, to the late James and Elizabeth (Singleton) Bishop. On May 2nd, 2004, he married Flossie (Campbell) Bishop. Ernest attended the Church of God.

Ernest enjoyed hunting, fishing, UK basketball, Nascar racing, and he especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children; Tammy Jo, Stacey Nicole, and Ernest Lee Jr, his grandchildren; Sara, Kristen, Nicklaus, Tracey, Myca, William Tyler. Four brothers; Doug, Bobby, Alvin, and Delray Bishop, One sister; Ganela Bishop. As well as a host of nieces and nephews, friends and family.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Flossie (Campbell) Bishop, One child: Jonathan Noah Bishop, Three brothers; David, Marion, Verdray Bishop, Four sisters; Jean Burns, Nellie Asher, and Luevadia Rice, and Wanda Barnett. One grandchild: Shawn Day Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, November 1st, 2024, at Marvin Owens chapel from 11-1 pm. Funeral service will start at 1pm with Bro. Randel Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.
