Ethelene Caldwell

Mrs. Ethelene Caldwell, age 75, of Brodhead, KY, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at Berea Health and Rehab.

Ethelene was born on August 5, 1947, in Quail, KY, a daughter of the late Shirley Berdis Caldwell and Dorothy Edna Scott. She was a devoted member of the Providence Church of Christ and enjoyed doing yard work. She spent most of her time as a care giver.

Those left to celebrate her life are her daughter Shonda Hayes & Bobby of Mt. Vernon, KY; granddaughter Lacey Michelle Hayes; two sisters: Mabel Cash of Brodhead, KY, and Ella Barnett & Monroe of Mt. Vernon, KY; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Raymond Caldwell, Wayne Caldwell, Fern Weaver Caldwell, and Nina Burton Burkhart.

Private services were held Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Providence Church of Christ. Burial followed in the Providence Church of Christ Cemetery.
