Evelyn (Walker) Woodall

Mrs. Evelyn (Walker) Woodall, age 83, of Brodhead, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Rockcastle Health and Rehab.

Evelyn was born on July 30, 1939, in Hazard, KY, a daughter of the late Paul and Ollie Mae (Burton) Walker. On September 14, 1957, she was united in holy matrimony to Ray Woodall, and of that union came four sons: Danny, Frankie, Larry, and Michael. She was a member of Free Pentecostal Church, and enjoyed crocheting, watching T.V., and going shopping.

Those left to celebrate her life are her four sons: Danny Ray, Frankie Lee, Larry Dean, and Michael Leroy Woodall, all of Brodhead, KY; four grandchildren: Tabatha Bottoms, Jason Edward Woodall, Talia Michelle Loudermilk, and Michaela Ray Scalf; five great-grandchildren: Jordan and Chase Doan, Emma Loudermilk, Sienna Scalf, and Ezekiel David Woodall; a brother: Paul Walker, Jr. & Carolyn of Hazard, KY; a sister: Kathy Watts of Hazard, KY; a special friend: Precilla Hall; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years: Ray Woodall; two sisters: Lois Ann Combs and Anna Louise Cornett; and a brother: James Denny Walker.

Services for Evelyn will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, beginning with the visitation at 11am, until the time of the funeral service at 2pm, with Terry Orcutt officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
