George W Cloud

Mr. George William Cloud, age 77, of Maretburg, passed away Friday, January 3rd, at his residence.

George was born May 15th,1947, in Pine Hill, Kentucky. A son to the late James and Lula (Jones) Cloud. On November 6, 1999, he married Janice Kay (Price) Cloud. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. George served his country in the Army and retired from Trane Company in Lexington, Ky.  He enjoyed watching westerns and he especially enjoyed going to the Smokie Mountains, and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife: Janice Kay Cloud, his children; Michael Shawn Cloud of Lexington, step daughter Kimberly Abraham of Fishers, IN, his step grandchildren; Joey Abraham (Lauren) of Aiken, SC, Justin Abraham of Bloomington, IN, his sisters; Priscilla Cloud of Nicholasville, Doris Machal (Bill), Elma Jean Hall (Wendell), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.  

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; B.F., James and Jackie Cloud, his sisters; Evelyn York, Inice Harper, and Glenna Parkerson.

George has chosen cremation, Military Rites and interment will take place at Camp Nelson, date of interment to be at a later date.
