Gerald Wilson Proctor

Mr. Gerald Wilson Proctor, age 85, of Mt. Vernon, KY passed away April 17, 2020 at his residence in Orlando, FL.

Gerald was born June 7, 1934 in Spiro, KY to the late Eugene and Bessie Proctor. He was a carpenter, was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed spending time with his family. His biggest interest was to come home to Kentucky.

Those left to celebrate his life are his six children:  Sandra Reynolds, Sherry Henderson, Tammy Miller, Scotti Anthony, Mark Proctor, Donna Horne; his fifteen grandchildren:  Bryan Nichols, Timothy Reynolds, Branden Reynolds, Mashell Woods, Jonathan Henderson, Tamatha Henderson, James Miller, Aaron Litteral, Mariah Mitchell, Mikaela Mitchell, Amya Anthony, Symara Anthony, Jeremiah Anthony, Marquis Timmerman, Katlynn Grimes; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son:  James Kean; two grandchildren:  Greg Kean, Cameron Litteral; and six siblings:  George Proctor, Ray Proctor, Charles Proctor, Geneva Race, Lillian Dowell, and Susie Price.

A memorial service for Gerald Proctor will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 10am at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Luther Allen officiating.

In accordance with current CDC guidelines, the family requests that visitors wear masks and observe social distancing.
