Glen E Ellison

Glen Edward Ellison, age 71 of Copper Creek, departed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Ky.

He was born on August 25, 1951, a son of the late Henry Robert and Ollie Myrtle Cupp Ellison.  Glen was a long-time employee of Western Rockcastle Water Co. He was a member of Hickory Grove Holiness Church, and he found great joy in hunting, fishing, farming and spending time with the grandchildren.

Those left to celebrate his life are: His grandchildren, Zachary Ellison (Brittany) of Copper Creek; Sarah Saylor of Lexington, Ky; and Emma Ellison of Richmond, Ky.  His siblings: Darrell Ellison (Wanda) of Brodhead, Ky; Opal Leece of Mesa, Arizona;  Jean Fuson (Bud)  of Middletown, Ohio; Ruby Brock (Dallas) of Copper Creek; and Sandra Gisler (Gary Freeman) of Quail, Ky. Great Grandchildren: Oakley, Jace, Marvie and Jake.  As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marsha Riddle Ellison; His son: Dana Ellison; His siblings: Reba Short, Lelia Durham, Estline Noe, Zella Lawson, Hester Leece, Elsie Ellison, Maggie Ellison, Joe Ellison, Henry Ellison, Jr., Bobby Ellison, Herman Ellison and Verlyan Ramsey..

Visitation for Glen will be Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 10AM till time of funeral at 1PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, with Bro. Randal Adams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
