Glen E Mcferron

Glen Edward Mcferron, age 62, of Mt Vernon, Ky, passed away on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, at his residence. He was born on February 23rd, 1963, in Mt Vernon, Ky. A son to Jessie and Loreta Livesay Mcferron.

Glen worked as a mechanic for Hyster Corp. for many years. He was of the Baptist faith, and he enjoyed Four Wheeling, Hunting, Fishing, and shooting Pool, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Glen is survived by his mother: Loreta Livesay Mcferron, one son: Dakota Mcferron (Courtney) of Madison Co., his grandchildren; Jaxon and Carson Mcferron, one brother: Randy Mcferron (Rhonda) of Mt Vernon, one sister: Diana Barnett of Mt Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his father: Jessie Mcferron.

Visitation for Glen will be Thursday, December 11th, 2025, at Marvin Owens Chapel from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be Friday, December 12th, 2025, at 1pm with Bro. Phillip Doan officiating. Burial will follow in Ottawa Cemetery.
